As per 12th plan guidelines of UGC, an Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Nilambazar College is formed on 16th January 2014 in consultation with the G.B. This cell is conceived as a mechanism to build and monitoring Quality Assurance and Quality Enhancement activities of the college. The primary goal of IQAC is to develop a quality system for conscious, consistent and dynamic pogramme action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the college. The IQAC ensures continuous improvement in the entire operations of the institutions and also assures its accountability to the stakeholders. Our objective is to instill a high sense of dedication and discipline and to inculcate the spirit of commitment to make Nilambazar College a Centre of Excellence in academic and co-curricular activities. The IQAC of the college is committed to maximize its resources, opportunities and capabilities in the domain of higher education.
The IQAC proceeds to achieve the set target through a number of quality assurance strategies under different cells to instill awareness in various social and health issues. It also plays a role in administrative fields, takes outreach programme through college NSS unit, NCC unit etc. Its activities include linkage and collaborative works through non-government organizations and also MOU signed with different educational institutions and industries for career development of its students.
